Where Events and Tasks Appear on the Calendar

CaseWyze separates scheduled events from work that is due, so the calendar grid and task list have different jobs.

Events go on the grid

An event has a schedule with start and end dates and times. Find it on the event calendar using its scheduled date and the current filters. Examples include an interview, appointment, or scheduled field work.

Tasks go in the Tasks panel

A task describes work to complete. Tasks with due dates appear in the side Tasks list rather than as normal event blocks on the grid. If the panel is hidden, use the control to show the due-date activity list.

Task-panel filters include All, Today, This Week, and Assigned to Me. These can further narrow the visible task list.

Undated tasks

Find tasks without due dates in Activities or the case's Activities tab. Add a due date if they should appear in the calendar's task list.

Calendar membership does not change the type

Assigning a task to a named activity calendar does not turn it into an event. The Make this an event switch in the activity form determines which type you are creating.

Check filters first

Case, status, team, and calendar source filters can hide an otherwise correctly dated activity.
