Open a case from the case list to see its details and related work. Start with Info for its main context.
The Emails tab is the case's history of messages sent through CaseWyze. Use it to review what was sent, when it was sent, and who received it. It can include case emails, secure attachment-link messages, and invoice reminders associated with the case.
Use the case actions menu and choose Send Email. Select the available case-connected recipients, enter a subject and message, review any attachment links, and send. Sending requires the Send Case Emails permission and is unavailable while the case is locked. Viewing the history requires View Case Emails.
Files shared through Attachments as Links are sent as secure links rather than conventional file attachments. This option also requires Download Attachments permission. Links from the main case email composer expire after seven days. Access to externally hosted files, such as Google Drive or OneDrive links, also depends on the cloud provider's sharing permissions.
The Emails tab is a sent-message history, not an incoming email inbox. Replies go to the configured Reply-To mailbox. They do not automatically become case updates or appear in this history. Check the Reply-To address when reviewing a message, and record relevant incoming correspondence in the case using your organization's process. A sent record does not by itself confirm that the recipient read the message.
The Timeline tab brings together activity from the case records you are allowed to see. Use it to catch up on case progress, review the sequence of work, or prepare for a handover.
Entries show a category, date and time, and a description. Additional details can include the associated user, recipients, attachment-link count, or status-change reason. The Timeline is assembled from available case records; it should not be treated as a complete version-by-version history of every field edit.
The Timeline shows when records were created or actions recorded, such as when an event was logged or a task was completed. These timestamps can differ from the date the work is scheduled to happen. Use Calendar to review scheduled work and Activities to manage tasks and events. The case Timeline is also separate from a chronological activity list entered inside an individual update.
Choose All Entries, check the sort direction, and use Load More. Your permissions and record access determine what appears; access to the case does not grant access to every related record. If the tab reports a loading error, select Retry. If an email search returns no results, clear the search and confirm that the message was sent through CaseWyze from this case.
Tabs depend on permissions, scope, and available features. Access groups can restrict individual updates and files even when the tab is visible. Closed or read-only case statuses can disable actions.
Check the case number and title at the top of the page so new work is saved to the intended case instance.
