Using Case Reports for Volume, Distribution, and Trends

Case Reports helps you understand the amount and distribution of case work in your accessible records.

Choose the relevant report

  • Case Distribution: case counts and budgets by the selected grouping.
  • Case Trend Detail: case volume across periods and groups.
  • Daily Cases: cases by day and case type.
  • Case Trends Comparison: monthly trends across years.
  • Last Case Report: the most recent case activity by group.
  • Case Assignment Distribution: assignment counts by case team.

Use grouping to answer a question

Apply the offered client, case type, status, case manager, workflow, assignment, and date filters. For example, compare case volume by client to understand demand, or assignment distribution to see how recorded responsibility is spread.

Counts are not effort

One complex case can require more work than several simple cases. Assignment counts can also differ from unique case counts because a case can have multiple people assigned. Review the report's measure and underlying records before treating a count as hours worked or capacity used.
