Profit views compare the revenue and expense data included by the selected report and filters.
Profit report controls can distinguish billed from collected methods, All Case Expenses from Only Linked Expenses, invoice statuses, and invoice date bases such as Date Created, Date Closed, or Due Date. Not every report offers every option. Record the choices used for a result.
An invoice-linked expense view and an all-case-expense view can include different costs. A case may have work not yet linked to an invoice. Changing scope can change the result without any underlying record being edited.
Use these reports to examine the included CaseWyze records. Do not assume a displayed profit figure includes every organizational overhead, external adjustment, or cost that was never entered. Compare the report's visible revenue and expense components and inspect the source records before treating different profit views as equivalent.
