Understanding Access to Multiple Organizations

Your CaseWyze login can have access to more than one organization. Each organization is a separate workspace with its own records, settings, and membership.

One identity, separate memberships

You may be an administrator in one workspace and an investigator with limited access in another. The selected workspace determines the role, permissions, assignments, and security requirements that apply to your work there.

What switching means

Switching opens the selected organization's workspace. It does not combine the organizations, transfer cases, copy contacts, or grant new permissions. You work with that destination's data and configuration.

A practical example

You manage cases for Organization A and perform assigned investigations for Organization B. In A you may see administrative settings and organization-wide reports. In B you may see only assigned cases. If B requires MFA and your current session has not satisfied it, you must complete MFA before entering its protected workspace.

Check where you are

The sidebar workspace identity shows the organization name and, where available, its subdomain and your role. Check it before entering updates, uploading files, recording expenses, or making settings changes. Similar case numbers in two organizations do not identify the same record.
