Troubleshooting Missing Widgets, Empty Lists, and Dashboard Totals

Use these checks when your dashboard looks different from expected or does not match another screen.

A widget is missing

  1. Confirm that you are in the correct workspace and dashboard tab.
  2. Check whether the widget is collapsed.
  3. If you can customize the dashboard, look for the widget under Dashboard actions > Add Widgets.
  4. If it is unavailable, ask an administrator to review the permissions for that widget's data.

A list is empty

Check My or All filters where available, assignments, dates, and access groups. New workspaces may have no matching records yet. Open the related case, activity, update, or finance list to investigate. An empty widget does not establish that no records exist elsewhere in the workspace.

Totals do not match another page

Compare record scope, filters, statuses, date ranges, and the meaning of each metric. Recent-item panels are limited summaries. When an opportunity snapshot timestamp is shown, consider whether source records changed afterward. Use the underlying records and detailed reports to investigate differences.

Your layout looks reset

If Saved dashboard layout could not be loaded appears, the page may be displaying a default layout. Restore your connection and reload before rebuilding your layout. Confirm the correct account and workspace, and allow layout saves to finish before leaving.

Get help

If the issue continues, record the widget name, selected filters, workspace, time observed, and any error message. Include a screenshot with sensitive case details hidden when contacting support.
