Most client issues come from the wrong record type, an incomplete relationship, or a missing permission.
Check the Accounts or Contacts tab, clear filters, search by email or phone, and inspect additional pages. Confirm workspace and view permissions before creating another record.
Open the contact and verify the Associated Account and active status. Confirm that the case is using the intended client. A staff member or vendor investigator is not automatically a client contact.
Check for a valid email, associated account, configured client role, and Manage Users permission. If login already exists, inspect the existing user-access setup rather than trying to invite a duplicate.
Verify invitation completion, login/contact linkage, case contact or explicit assignment, role permissions, and content access group. Account membership alone does not grant every case.
Check finance-item setup and account rates for billing problems. For deletion, inspect linked cases and other records and the relevant delete permission.
Provide support the account/contact name or record identifier, attempted action, and error text without sending passwords or unnecessary client data.
