Check the file, access settings, and case state when an attachment action fails.
PDF; JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WEBP images; MP4, MOV/QuickTime, and WEBM video; MP3 and WAV audio; TXT and CSV; EML email evidence; and DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, and PPTX Office files.
Normal case attachments have a 5 GB per-file limit and remain subject to organization storage limits. Intake request files use a separate, smaller limit. A supported upload format does not guarantee an inline preview.
Check each file's result, supported type, size, available storage, and required visibility group. Keep the upload page open until completion. After a connection error, refresh the list and check whether the file arrived before uploading it again.
Confirm case access, the relevant attachment permission, visibility-group membership, and an editable case status. Closed or read-only cases can restrict changes.
Use a valid HTTPS URL without embedded credentials. Check that the source still exists and that the intended user has permission through the outside provider. A CaseWyze access group cannot fix a provider-side restriction.
Use Help & Feedback with the case number, attachment name, action attempted, and exact error. Do not include passwords or API keys.
