Uploaded files and cloud links open differently because they are stored in different places.
Previews depend on the file format and browser. Common PDFs, images, videos, audio, and text-like files can preview where supported. Large text previews may be shortened. Office and EML files can be uploaded and downloaded even when an inline preview is unavailable.
Use Open Link to open the saved HTTPS destination. You need Download Attachments permission in CaseWyze and access to the original file through the outside provider. The provider may require you to sign in.
Check the URL and whether the source file still exists. Confirm you are signed in to the correct cloud account and ask its owner to review sharing. Changing CaseWyze permissions cannot override Google Drive, OneDrive, or other provider restrictions.
A local download is a separate copy. Later changes to the CaseWyze file or cloud source do not automatically update it.
