Case-type restrictions help users select reports appropriate for the kind of work being performed.
No selected templates means all active templates are allowed. It does not disable reporting. When specific templates are selected, only those allowed templates appear for that case type.
A case-type selection does not activate a draft custom template. Complete its test and activation workflow first.
Managing case types requires Full Access and Manage Settings. The user generating the report still needs case access and report/template permissions.
When uploading a replacement as a new template, review the allowed-template selection so cases can use the intended version. These restrictions are managed in Case Types, not by editing the template list.
