Handling Data Subject Requests and Organization Deletion

Open Settings > Data & Compliance. This area requires Full Access and the permission required for each compliance or deletion action.

Data Subject Requests

  1. Select New Request.
  2. Enter the required Subject Identifier and optional Subject Email.
  3. Select Request Type and provide Reason / Notes.
  4. Submit the request, then review its row and status.
  • Access: creates an export request that can be processed from the request table.
  • Erasure: creates an anonymization request. Legal hold blocks erasure.
  • Rectification: creates a manual-review request for staff to correct the subject record.

Verify the subject identity and requested scope through your organization's process. Submitting a request is not the same as completing it. Review the processing result and available output or follow-up action.

Organization deletion is different

Request Organization Deletion concerns the entire workspace, not one case or subject. It requires the dedicated company-data deletion permission and is blocked by legal hold.

The confirmation requires a reason and the exact organization name. The displayed consequences include immediate loss of organization access, deactivation of custom domains, and permanent deletion after the retention period. Review these consequences and preserve required exports before using it.

Billing remains separate

Deleting an organization does not cancel billing. Cancel the subscription and add-ons through Billing before requesting deletion when ending service. Do not use organization deletion as a troubleshooting or cleanup shortcut.
