Choosing Public Form Fields and Required Information

The Fields tab determines which intake questions requestors see and which they must answer.

Configure each question

  1. Open the case request form in Settings > Public Forms and select Fields.
  2. Use Visible to include a supported field.
  3. Use Required when the requestor must provide that information. Hiding a field clears its required setting.
  4. Enter a custom label where offered to make the question clearer to your audience.
  5. Save and inspect the public form to confirm the resulting questions and validation.

Available information groups

  • Client and contact: company, country, address, contact name, email, and phone fields.
  • Case details: case type, services requested, claim/reference number, dollar or hour budget, notes/instructions, and additional information.
  • Subjects: primary subject, additional subjects, and subject photo options.
  • Supporting files: file upload visibility, requirement, size, and type rules.

Consider the connected configuration

Case type is a core intake selection. Available services and additional information can depend on the selected case type and its configuration. Organization-level Case Request Settings also include client address and phone requirements. Review both levels if the public form asks for information you did not expect.

A requested budget expresses intake information; review it before treating it as the accepted scope of work.
