Branding a Public Form and Explaining What Happens Next

Branding and instructions help requestors recognize your organization and submit useful information.

Set the appearance

Open the form's Branding tab. Review the logo, Organization Display Name, Phone Number, Website, Primary Color, and Public Form Theme. Theme options include System, Light, and Dark. Branding fields can use defaults from Settings > Organizational Information, so check the actual public page after saving.

Write useful header instructions

Explain who should use the form, what information to have ready, and what happens after submission. For example: “Use this form to request new work. Include the subject details, requested services, and supporting documents. Our team will review the request and contact you if more information is needed.”

Write an accurate success message

The success message appears after a successful submission. Explain that the request was received and is pending review. Ask the requestor to keep the request number. Avoid wording such as “Your case is now active,” because a staff member still needs to accept the request.

Check the form on the screen sizes your clients use. Make sure the organization details are accurate, instructions are readable, labels make sense, and the link points to the intended organization and form.
