Auditing Pricing and Tax Configuration with System Reports

System Reports helps administrators find configuration differences that can affect client billing.

Four configuration reports

  • Client Price List Audit: client-specific invoice rate overrides.
  • Client Rate Override Summary: client-level counts of rate differences and tax overrides.
  • Invoice Item Defaults: default rates and the spread of client overrides by item.
  • Client Tax Settings: account defaults and custom price-list tax settings.

Use an audit result

  1. Choose the report and applicable filters.
  2. Compare defaults with account-specific settings.
  3. Identify missing or unexpected overrides.
  4. Open the appropriate account Price List or Settings area to make an authorized correction.
  5. Review the report again after the source setting is saved.

Scope and access

These reports describe configuration rather than proving an invoice was issued or paid. A tax-setting report shows what is configured; it does not determine which treatment should apply to a transaction. System Reports requires Full Access and Manage Settings. Export also requires Export Data.
